I want my bed back!!

About a month ago, I purchased bunk beds for the girls. Both of them were getting to big for their toddler beds, so with part of my tax refund I purchased bunk beds. Besides the fact they were both growing, I also hoped that maybe new beds would excite them enough to stay in their own beds all night. Each night Madison and Mikayla both come into my bed. I have a queen size bed they take up about 3/4 of my bed while I get the other 1/4 of the bed. The first couple of nights they both stayed in the bunk beds till about 4 or 5 am. Which is much better then midnight. Well here it is a month later and we are back to the old routine of my bed by midnight. I put them both in the same bed hoping that they could snuggle with each other and skip coming into my bed. WRONG!!! I have tried bribery with candy, money and anything else that could excite them and nothing works. I am out of ideas and dont know what else to try. When they come into my bed, I am so tired that I dont want to deal with a screaming child or sometimes I am so tired I dont even here them come into my bed. What do I do? Does anyone have any other ideas.

I have had a few people say I should enjoy it while they are young, because there will come a day when neither one will want to sleep with me. I need my sanity, I dont get much sleep when they are both in my bed. AARRRGGGHHH!!!!!! Thus making me more tired then I already am everyday.

Till next time........

What A Life.......

Good evening to all my blog readers. When I started this blog I thought it would be so much fun to post everyday or at least every other day, I dont know what my problem is but I just cant seem to even come close to that. I have a list of 13 blogs that I read religously and just cant get enough them. I get disappointed when they dont post everyday. I thought it would be so easy to post everyday and couldnt understand why they dont post everyday. Now I see that its hard to keep up a blog. So hard!! So please bare with me as I try.

I am a single mom and I work 7 days a week at 3 jobs to support my girls and give them they best life they can have. About 4pm everyday I start dreaming about to bed and I start a countdown till bedtime. So at night when I climb into bed, pull out my laptop I find myself dreading writing a blog because I just want to close my eyes and go to sleep. So once again I apologize. I will try!!

I love my life and wouldnt change it for anything, but sometimes I wish time would just slow down. My life in a few words: hectic, crazy, overwhelming, boring, full of love to my girls, un-organized..... I could go on and on but I will stop here.

I always think of fun things I want to do with the girls, but when the time comes I drag my feet and just want to stay home for a couple of reason ( a nap always sounds good). My oldest right now is going through a stag that I have been told will last till she is in her 20's. (AAAAAGGGHHH!!!!) She pushes all my buttons and is very vocal (bossy). My youngest has started throwing here toys at her and hits her to get her way. So with this is also why in the end we dont do much. In another post I will completely spill all about each of my girls.

Just a random blog with some info about my life, but might not make sense to any normal person who reads.

Good NIght!!!!!

I am still here.....

Things around here are back to the busy, hectic scheduling. It seems like all I do is get up in the morning, get myself as well as the girls ready for school, drop them off, I go to work. When work is over I pick up girls, go home make dinner and then before I know it bedtime is here. Wow, what a busy day. I went to the dr's last week, my left foot has been bothering me for the last 5 weeks. Well after xray, it was determined that I cracked one of the bones in my ankle. I was told to keep off my feet, put my foot up and ice it. You tell me how I am supposed to keep off my feet with a 3 and 5 year old. Obvoiusly my dr doesnt have kids. Till next time.

Happy New Year!!

Happy New Year to all my readers!! Which at this time is zero. I can't believe its January 1st already. I have been off work for the last 2 weeks from my main job. I had a big list of things I was going to do and get done during these 2 weeks and I don't think I have done one thing. The girls went to their dads for Christmas and had a blast. I got to see them on Christmas day for an hour or two. They were supposed to spend the day with me, but when their dad brought them to me it started snowing and snowing. Since I didn't have snow tires on my car I didn't want to try driving them back in the snow. So I opened presents with them and then they left with their dad. I got them back on Thursday and still hadn't cleaned up the wrapping paper mess from Tuesday, they did have fun helping clean it all up.

We did have a calm weekend not to much planned. I still hadn't made up my mind as to what our plans were going to be for New Years Eve. Part of me just wanted to be in bed by 9pm and part of me wanted to stay up with the girls. Well 9 o'clock came and went we watched some movies and set some puzzles. Then 10 o'clock came and I was ready for bed, so I watched the news and hoped the girls would settle down. I think I was asking for to much at that point. We then watched some Max and Ruby and before I new it, it was 11:15. We turned on the live countdown and watched some performers. Finally about 11:45 I got up and open my champagne bottle and the girls got their own sparkling cider (I even put it into some of my old wine glasses) and were they ever so excited. We did the countdown and "cling ed" our glasses together. I had to stop the girls, they were going to break the glasses. I let them go outside and bang some pots and pans, we just happened to stumble upon our neighbors letting off illegal fireworks. So we watched them for awhile. We went back inside, I had to use the bathroom and when I walked out I caught my oldest drinking out of my champagne bottle. She thought mine tasted better then hers and wanted me to share. I explained to her that's why its a mommy drink and what it would do to her if she drank anymore. She then paraded around with her glass telling everyone she was drinking beer. What her dad would have done to me had he seen her.

We finally went to bed around 1:30, both girls were asleep as soon as their heads hit the pillows. I was hoping they would sleep in till at least 11, I was close they both aroused by 10. I was so pissed, off all the days I was up early, I woke about 8:30 and had to go potty, went back to bed only to discover it had been taken over by two squirming girls. So I moved to the chair in the front room.

I always make a new years resolution and never follow through, though this year I promised my girls to spend more time with them and be a better mom. Hope everyone in blog land had a wonderful new year's. Till next time.
